Weldcraft to Showcase TIG Welding Products at 2006 Fabtech International/AWS Welding Show

APPLETON, Wis., 25 July 2006-Weldcraft will showcase its TIG welding products in Booth # 24044 at the Fabtech International/AWS Welding Show in Atlanta, October 31 to November 2. Products to be exhibited include the company's upgraded WP17 Series of TIG torches, new (WP17, 18, 20 and 26) torch packages and a line of tungsten. Weldcraft's Legacy Series of TIG torches will also be on display.

Upgraded WP-17 Torch Series
Weldcraft's WP-17 TIG torch series now includes the patented Diamond Grip (previously found on the Miller Electric's Diamond Back torches). To increase operator comfort, the Diamond Grip helps operators maintain a secure grip for superior torch control in all welding positions, while an ergonomic torch body helps the operator maintain the correct relationship between the torch and weld joint to reduce fatigue.

New Torch Packages
The company's new torch packages are available for WP17, 18, 20 and 26 style torches and include 25-ft. cables, a cable cover and adapter and a 15 ft. ground cable. The torch packages also feature water and gas hoses, a welding accessory kit and a TIG welding handbook. These new products have been designed to provide welding operators with all the necessary components in one package and help ease ordering and inventorying.

Additional Torch Options
For less demanding TIG welding applications, the Legacy Series from Weldcraft features quality torches, consumables and accessories at a competitive price. The Legacy Series consists of core TIG products, including 9, 17, 18, 20 and 26 series torch packages, along with their supporting nozzles, collet and collet bodies and gas lenses.

Tungsten Choices
Weldcraft's line of tungsten includes: pure, 2% ceriated, 2% thoriated, 1.5% lanthanum and rare earth in diameters of .040-, 1/16-, 3/32-, 1/8- and 5/32-inches. The tungsten is available in 7-inch lengths in packages of ten that are color-coded according to type. To ensure quality and safety, the tungsten meets strict AWS (American Welding Society) specifications and features important safety information for usage on the labels.
