PresenterNet Users Add New Applications with Macromedia FlashPaper2

CAPISTRANO BEACH, CA - PresenterNet, provider of online interactive Web conferencing services, has demonstrated new online applications enabled by integration of Macromedia FlashPaper2.

PresenterNet now integrates FlashPaper2 files from any source into contiguous online presentations, so that FlashPaper source documents appear as part of a traditional slide group. Because the Macromedia product can convert any printable document to Flash, PresenterNet users routinely include extra-large documents like complex spreadsheets, flow charts, detailed blueprints and geographic maps along with their traditional PowerPoint slides.

In demonstrating sample applications during an online Webinar to PresenterNet users, CEO Doug Wolfgram said, "We began integration of FlashPaper early in our development, because we recognized the impact it would have on our users."

"FlashPaper conversions are much more functional than simple PowerPoint slides that can include only small pieces of detailed documents", he added. "The PresenterNet image from FlashPaper can be large and complex, can use fine print, or multiple pages."

FlashPaper files on PresenterNet offer each audience member a personal control bar to zoom in or out, scroll, and navigate throughout an entire large document. This means that presenters can comfortably position very complex materials within PowerPoint presentations, knowing that each audience member can zoom back for a broad view, and then zoom into any sector to scrutinize fine print, or even scroll through multiple pages of spreadsheet data, diagram segments or designs.

PresenterNet users now use FlashPaper in sales, marketing and training presentations where they need documents other than traditional slides to carry a major part of their messages.

"The flexibility offered by FlashPaper changes the game for many Web conferencing presenters", explained Wolfgram. "They can now integrate a wide variety of images to get their point across. It's no longer a PowerPoint-only world."
