Hatfield, Pennsylvania - From SIMCO Industrial Static Control, the Neutro-Vac systems incorporate a vacuum system and static control to efficiently clean and neutralize static charges from web materials. Comprised of a vacuum hood assembly connected via ducting to a dust collector, Neutro-Vac Web Cleaning Systems can be designed in many configurations and in widths from 2" to 144", to ensure a custom match for a wide variety of requirements.
Hood assembly options include non-contact, contact, intrinsically safe non-contact, contact with compressed air and the Pneumatic Lift option.
The Pneumatic Lift option allows the Neutro-Vac hood to be raised away from the web or adjusted up to the web by simply moving a lever. The Pneumatic Lift moves the hood up to 4". This accommodates applications where extra room under the hood is required for threading the web. The Pneumatic Lift allows the hood to be moved quickly when material thickness changes by run and in applications where the hood must be moved during the run to avoid high spots on the web.
