Quadrox Announces the Release of GuardNVR 4.3



Henderson, Nevada - Quadrox® Inc, the market leader in standards-based network video solutions, announces the release of GuardNVR version 4.3. This solution is a high quality web-based network video recording and managing software from Quadrox that supports all applicable IT Standards and focuses on ease of use.

New features of GuardNVR 4.3 include:
Google style transaction & POS search option - introduces significant enhancements to the POS Monitor with expanded Google style search allowing users to apply multi-level search criteria to POS transaction records. It makes the process of finding the necessary information quick and easy, enhancing in-store control and reduced cash and product shrinkage.

Automatic configuration option - this feature automatically finds cameras connected to the system, camera IP addresses and camera models (expanded to include cameras from Zavio, Panasonic, Axis, Arecont, Approtech and IQinvision.) and takes away the technical hassle, improving the configuration process and saving management time.

Resources usage optimization - indicates the most loaded segment of the system (memory, network, CPU etc) and takes the appropriate measure to efficiently allocate the work load.

Fever Detection - includes a new feature used in conjunction with thermal imaging cameras allowing for the detection of persons with elevated body temperature in crowded environments such as public transport, hospitals, etc. Such feature contributes to the effective identification of viral infections.

Expanded IP camera support - adds the new 7 series models from Panasonic, thermal imaging cameras from Xenics, a wide range of cameras from GE, the new ACTi 36xx and 37xx series as well as the latest models of Axis, Approtech and Mobotix. We currently support over 900 non-standard based network cameras.

H.264 support - offers the next-generation video compression technology in the MPEG-4 standard, delivering excellent video quality across the entire bandwidth spectrum.

Quadrox also announces its future support for ONVIF compliant cameras that can be obtained in a free update for all ONVIF cameras as they become available.
