Stainless Steel Floodlights for Industrial and Saltwater Marine Applications

ROSEMONT, IL -- Appleton, a brand of Emerson Industrial Automation, today introduced a new line of powerful, energy-efficient weatherproof floodlights designed for industrial and marine areas.

Ruggedly constructed of high-grade 316 stainless steel, new Areamaster™ Stainless Steel Floodlights feature the most advanced corrosion-resistant design on the market, making them impervious for saltwater or harsh chemicals. Not only do the luminaires comply with demanding NEMA 4X requirements, they also are UL Listed for Class I, Division 2 hazardous industrial locations, such as oil rigs, chemical plants and sewage treatment centers.

Compact and easy-to-install, Areamaster™ Stainless Steel Floodlights floodlights come in a variety of efficient high-power ballast and voltage configurations for both domestic and export uses. All models feature thermal-shock and tempered impact resistant glass, along with a built-in double segment reflector that provides superior photometric efficiency. Firmly-seated silicone rubber gaskets prevent ingress of damaging moisture, chemicals or saltwater. A hinged door means no lost or damaged parts during servicing, while the door's latches allow relamping without the use of tools. Luminaires can be mounted in any position ranging from lens down to horizontal lens up, so the lighting is aimed where it is needed most.
