For automated reporting via computer or industrial automation system, Weather MicroServer offers various Internet and industrial protocols and supports integrated ambient Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensor. Latter uses IR light source to measure CO2 at ppm level, is configured for analog output, and is installed in self-aspirating radiation shield for protection against effects of solar radiation. Sensor and Weather MicroServer can be used with any CWS weather station.

Carbon Dioxide Added to Sensor Options for Columbia Weather Systems



Responding to customer request, Columbia Weather Systems has integrated an ambient Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensor for use with the Weather MicroServer. This new feature was implemented specifically for an Apple data center via customer Siemens Building Technologies. The new sensor and the Weather MicroServer can be used with any CWS weather station. These offer a range of meteorological sensors in a variety of configurations to suit industrial and government weather monitoring applications.
