Wave of Innovation: Rexroth Rolls out Multiple New Linear Actuators

Bosch Rexroth brings three new families of linear motion systems to market. Rexroth's Bridge Modules, Feed Modules and Compact Modules bring superior quality and innovative performance to pick and place, automation, material handling, assembly and packaging tasks.

(Charlotte, NC - www.boschrexroth-us.com/BRL) Bosch Rexroth has unleashed a wave of linear motion products to the U.S. market this year. The new Bridge Modules, Feed Modules and Compact Modules bring innovative functionality and greater performance to assembly and material handling applications.

BKK Bridge Modules

The BKK Bridge Modules span long unsupported lengths and are optimized for extremely high torsional stiffness, reducing deflection in applications where the module is not fully supported, such as Y axes for gantry systems. Bridge modules offer higher thrust forces, lengths up to 5,500mm, and feature camoLINE connectivity, allowing for precise connection and alignment of additional axes. BKK modules are fully enclosed with an aluminum cover and polyurethane sealing strips, protecting internal components from environmental contamination

VKK Feed Modules

The VKK Feed Modules from Bosch Rexroth bring high load capacity and low moving mass to Cartesian or gantry systems that include vertical axes or horizontal actuators. The modules allow easy mounting of electric or pneumatic components via an adapter plate and can be specified as a fully-assembled axis with motor. VKK modules are available in 70mm and 100mm cross-sections with standard strokes from 80mm to 400mm, and are housed in a fixed aluminum body; containing aluminum thrust rod, carriage, and a ball screw drive. VKK modules are perfectly suited for Z-axis function in light-duty handling, pick-and-place and feed applications for the automation and packaging industries.

eLINE Compact Modules

The new eLINE Compact Modules, available with both belt and ball screw drive options, offer a maintenance-free, economical solution for medical, packaging and small handling applications. Features include factory-lubricated bearings, an integrated stepper motor with positioning control, a configurable 3D CAD generator and hybrid eLINE ball rail guideways. eLINE Compact Modules offer Rexroth quality and performance at a lower cost for applications with less rigorous load and speed requirements such as pick and place, dispensing, assembly, packaging and material handling tasks.
