Magnalight Releases High Power Waterproof LED Blasting Light with Magnetic Mount
Larson Electronics releases the 4320 lumen, magnetic mount blasting light with replaceable lens covers for blasting and coating applications. The LED blasting light can be used as a portable base stand model or as a magnetically mounted back light for operators doing sand, water or other types of blasting operations in non-hazardous environments.
Larson Electronics released the first member of a new LED blasting light line up with the BL24-LED 72 watt waterproof LED blasting light. Delivering 4320 lumens form within a military grade cast housing, this LED blasting light features a magnetic base and a pivoting bracket mount that enables the operator to position the LED light in nearly 360 degrees of beam angles. The low voltage BL24-LED blasting light is available in 120-277 Volts AC (with the DCP-11-DP inline system) or 9-42 Volts DC, drawing less than ¼ amp on 120V and 2 amps on 12 volts DC.
"Operators can position this LED blasting light behind them to illuminate the tank, vessel or manway," said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics' magnalight.com. "We also provide adhesive backed Mylar lens covers that protect the lens. The Mylar cover prevents scratching of the LED blasting light's lens and gives the operator the ability to clear the lens periodically of overspray and debris. The military grade housing is both water and dust tight (IP68), which makes it applicable for the blasting and coating industry. Most importantly, we know how to deliver significant forward light projection from our LED lights, in both spot and flood configurations. We have been building LED lights for military and industrial applications for nearly 5 years now and our patent pending, proprietary optics deliver maximum usable light for minimal amp draw. Operators in the US and Canada have been using our lights for wet and dry area blasting applications for some time, but we are finally creating a line of LED blasting lights dedicated to this purpose.
