AMETEK Rotron Technical Products Upgrades Seal-Less Water Circulation Pumps

Brushless Motor and Improved Bearings for 60,000 Hours of Continuous Use

KENT, OH -- AMETEK Rotron Technical Products has upgraded its line of standard 47 Frame Seal-Less Magnetically Coupled water circulation pumps with a re-engineered bearing system that increases the rated service life to 60,000 hours of continuous duty.

AMETEK Rotron's field-proven Seal-Less pumps are magnetically coupled, eliminating all seals and inherent seal leakage. The pump is constructed of brass and is available in 12 and 24 VDC versions with identical flow ratings and multiple inlet and outlet configurations. The pump's warranty has been extended from three to four years.

The Seal-less line features AMETEK Rotron's Heavy-Duty 47 Frame Brushless DC motor, which is electronically commutated, making it maintenance free throughout its service life. The 47 Frame Motor is designed for rugged operation and is protected from harsh environments, including hot-water spray, rain, humidity, salt, fog, shock and vibration. Its integrated electronics provide for a two-wire hookup, which allows complete interchangeability with brush motor counterparts. Its brushless design eliminates the need and expense of replacing carbon brushes.
