New and Improved WLS-31 For Accurate, Cost Effective Water Level Monitoring

Victor, New York - Telog Instruments, Inc. announces the introduction of the WLS-31 water level system. The WLS-31 is a member of the next generation of data acquisition products being
offered by Telog. Compared to it's predecessors, the WLS-2102e and WLS-2109e, this new unit is 50% smaller, four times the amount of data and has a battery life of seven years. The improved WLS-31 design represents Telog's commitment to equip environmentalists and water utilities with tools to satisfy their aquifer informational needs.

About The WLS-31

The WLS-31 is designed to monitor level variations over time. The recorder starts by sampling level fluctuations as fast as four samples per second or as slow as every eight hours. Samples are accumulated over a user selected time interval also as short as one second or as long as eight hours. 80,000 data values may be collected. The data may be downloaded on-site to a laptop
computer running Telogers for Windows software or a Telog Palm Data Transfer Unit.

The WLS-31 is a rugged design, constructed of 316 stainless steel and polyurethane cable. It can be permanently installed inside a 2" well. Once in the well, the unit is literally hidden from public view. With a battery life of seven years, maintenance costs are practically non-existent.

WLS-31 Sensor

The WLS-31 is being offered with the Telog PT-10b strain gauge pressure sensor with a selectable range of 5, 10 and 15 psi. The sensor is also housed in 316 stainless steel shell. The
PT-10b sensor is differential in nature therefore, atmospheric pressure will not influence the measurement.

Telogers for Windows® Software

Keeping ease of use, flexibility and customer need as it's number one priority, Telog has developed a comprehensive user-friendly software package, Telogers®. Compatible with Telog's
entire product line, Telogers compiles the WLS-31 trend history into a database providing a documented history of water level for each monitored site. The customer can then easily tailor
Telogers, a Windows-based package, to fit their individual needs.
