Philadelphia Scientific Introduces ClampLock(tm) Water Injectors - a Lower-cost, "Do-It-Yourself" Injector for the Company's Single Point Battery Watering System

Uses the same patented internal mechanism as, and is compatible with, the Injector Premier(tm)

MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pa., December 17, 2004 - Philadelphia Scientific, a leading international manufacturer of industrial battery components, accessories and tools, has introduced Water Injector ClampLock(tm), the newest member of its family of single point watering systems. Featuring the same patented internal mechanism as the Injector Premier(tm), the ClampLock Injector enables do-it-yourself custom installations and is a lower cost alternative to the Injector Premier.

The Injector ClampLock system uses barbed fittings to attach the water tubing to each Injector and benefits from the latest in plastic welding technology. Spin-welded into one piece, the ClampLock is strong, stable and resists the chemical build-up that occurs in all batteries. The system is packaged to include 120 ClampLock Injectors, 10 Terminating Injectors, 10 Quick Connects and 500 feet of tubing per package.

The Injector ClampLock costs about 1/3 less than the Injector Premier, and is specifically designed for the do-it-yourself installer, as well as for those who don't know the exact battery size or type they are fitting. In addition, individual ClampLock Injectors can be used as replacements in Injector Premier strings for repair work.
