Amtrol Introduces Dual "O" Ring Sealing System for Boilermate(TM) Classic Series
West Warwick, R.I. (February 25, 2003) - AMTROL, a world-leading provider of advanced water system solutions, has introduced its Dual "O" Ring Sealing System for the WH-7 and WH-9 Series BoilerMate(TM) Classic water heaters. The Dual "O" Ring system provides a second seal that acts as a backup for the protection of the interior section of the water heaters.
This sealing system offers immediate confirmation of a fully-functioning seal by dispersing water that will leak down the exterior sides of the water heater if the seal is not secure. Should the seal not be secure, the second "O" Ring will inhibit internal water heater damage caused by internal leaks. Typically, an ineffective seal will not be indicated until weeks or months later when water has leaked out onto the floor. The Dual "O" Ring System prevents continual, long-lasting leaks from penetrating inside the BoilerMate Classic Series systems and saturating interior foam.
