Lincoln Electric Introduces Cool-Arc(TM) 40 Designed for Reliability Using Industry-Standard ProCon® Pump

Cleveland, OH -- The Lincoln Electric Company's new Cool-Arc(TM)40 water cooler has been designed for rugged reliability using the industry-standard ProCon® pump. This pump offers superb cooling power and minimizes vibrations. In addition, the Cool-Arc 40 is lightweight and portable for easy maneuverability around the shop or job site. The unit's unique horizontal or vertical mounting configuration is ideal for space-constrained shops. In addition, this stand-alone unit brings improved technology in both pump and fan designs.

The Cool-Arc 40 is a self-contained, cooling system for use with water-cooled guns and torches for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), PAC (Plasma Arc Cutting) and PAW (Plasma Arc Welding). It is compatible with all Lincoln water-cooled systems, including Cobramatic torches.

This water cooler features an internal pump manufactured by ProCon the leading pump manufacturer for welding water coolers. The pump has an industrial, heavy-duty motor, which can deliver a maximum pressure of 60 (PSI)G and a maximum flow rate of 100 GPH. The pump significantly reduces vibrations, which would otherwise be transferred to the welding torch or gun. In addition, the pump is easy to service. The Cool-Arc 40 also features a tube-axial style fan for quiet reliable operation.

The Cool-Arc 40 has a lightweight 2-gallon reservoir which maintains cooling efficiency while limiting the weight and size of the unit to just over 60 lbs. for portability.

Its case allows the Cool-Arc 40 to be mounted vertically or horizontally with no variation in cool, positive air-flow. Color-coded inlet and outlet coolant connections are industry standard
female CGA-style (5/8-18 left hand thread). The Cool-Arc 40 is available in both 115V or 230V 50/60Hz models.

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of arc welding equipment and consumables, robotic welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
