Water Circulator facilitates heat loss adjustment.

Press Release Summary:

Featuring microprocessor-based, variable speed differential controller, Delta T 00 Circulator enables users to accurately calculate and adjust for heat loss because it automatically adjusts to deliver optimal heat transfer based on actual operation of system on continuing basis. Unit is suitable for use in multi-zone radiant manifolds with loop actuator and in series loop systems using zone valves.

New Variable Speed Delta T '00' Circulators Make Heat Loss Adjustment Easier than Ever

One of the newest products from Taco, and among the most recent additions to TACO-HVAC.com, is information on the Taco Variable Speed Delta T "00" Circulator.

The Taco Variable Speed Delta T "00" Circulator enables you to calculate and adjust for heat loss much more accurately, because it automatically adjusts to deliver optimal heat transfer based on the actual operation of the system on a continuing basis. That means every day, and under all load conditions.

The key to this accuracy is a microprocessor-based variable speed differential controller. You simply dial in the design delta T of the system or zone (from 5 degrees to 50 degrees F.), then attach a supply and return sensor directly to the circulator. The circulator automatically adjusts its performance to match the system's ideal BTU/hr. output, while it conserves energy and eliminates velocity noise, too.

The Taco Variable Speed Delta T "00" Circulator also makes service calls a lot faster, because you don't have to figure out pressure drops for proper pump sizing.

The Taco Variable Speed Delta T "00" Circulator works great in applications such as multi-zone radiant manifolds with loop actuator, and in series loop systems using zone valves.

HVAC Pros Ask...

Question: Do you have any data on putting two Taco 009 Circulators in series or possibly combining the 009 in series with another circulator to boost head and flow rates?

Answer: If any pump is put in series with another pump, the heads are additive at the same flow. To increase the flow, the pumps have to be put in parallel. With pumps in parallel, the flows are additive at the same head. When pumps are put in series, install a nipple between two flanges. Bolt the discharge of one pump to one flange, and the suction of the other pump to the other flange.
