Wasp Barcode Technologies to Offer Barcoding Solutions at Staples' 1,400 U.S. Stores

Small businesses now can find affordable productivity tools at the
world's largest office products company

PLANO, Texas - Oct. 25, 2007 - Starting in October, productivity
solutions from Wasp Barcode Technologies will be stocked on the shelves of Staples'
1,400 stores in the United States, dramatically expanding retail
access to Wasp's barcoding solutions designed especially for small businesses.

"The small business owners who are most likely to benefit from our
solutions already trust Staples as a primary resource for office
supplies," said Steve Coffman, president of Wasp Barcode Technologies.
"This makes Staples an ideal retailer for Wasp's affordable barcoding
solutions, which help small companies dramatically improve their productivity and profitability."

Staples will carry two Wasp products in their Software department -
WaspLabeler and WaspNest. WaspLabeler is used to quickly create and
print barcode labels for product, inventory, shipping and mailing
labels. WaspNest is a value-packed suite that includes a barcode
scanner, barcode labeling software and tracking software for basic inventory and asset tracking.

"IDC's recent end-user research indicates surprising interest among
small business owners in purchasing technology products from office
superstores like Staples," said Merle Sandler, research manager for
SMB and home office programs at research firm IDC. "For example, one
in five small firms currently purchases PCs from office superstores.
Adding Wasp Barcode solutions to these superstore shelves will help meet the productivity needs of small businesses."

Wasp's own customer research confirmed the largely unmet need for
barcoding solutions among small business owners and discovered the
unique affiliation business owners have with their local office stores.

"As a Staples' customer for more than 10 years, I'm delighted to see
Wasp products now available at their stores," said Skip Felscher, of
an antiques and collectibles business in Edmonds, Wash. "Because my
business involves antiques and collectibles, using barcodes to track my inventory is essential.
I purchased the WaspNest package, which has become indispensable for
the smooth operation of my business."
