Bradley Designs 'Greener' Washfountain
MENOMONEE FALLS, WIS., (May 29, 2007) - Specifying a sustainable, environmentally friendly group handwashing fixture has just gotten easier. Bradley now offers a Classic Washfountain well-suited for LEED projects because it is made with 100% recycled glass terrazzo.
As with all Bradley washfountains, the Recycled Terrazzo Washfountain helps conserve energy, water and space. And now a washfountain can help reduce the amount of waste in landfills and conserve resources, too. Terrazzo is typically made of natural stone and concrete and looks much like a mosaic. Recycled glass terrazzo is made entirely of recycled glass bottles which are amber, blue, green, clear and gray. These different shades of glass will be used to create six distinct color options.
The Recycled Terrazzo Washfountain will be available in 54-inch and 36-inch circular and semi-circular configurations. Both units have a 9-inch deep bowl, ideal for heavy-duty hand washing applications. A choice of activation types are offered - foot pedal, infrared or pushbutton operation.
