Wash-Water Treatment Systems integrate two technologies.

Press Release Summary:

Integrating mechanical filtration and bioremediation, CLPB Series eliminates need for chlorine to sanitize waste stream. Two technologies work together to treat emulsified oils and suspended solids. Resistant to chemical fatigue and ultraviolet exposure, high-density, polyethylene tank has unit volume of 600 gal and 60° slope to optimize setting and removal of suspended solids. Systems feature modular components, enabling each to be configured to specific needs.

Water Maze Introduces CLPB Systems That Integrate Mechanical Filtration And Advanced Bio-Technology

Water Maze, a leading manufacturer of industrial wastewater treatment systems since 1989, has introduced the CLPB series, the first wash-water treatment system to integrate mechanical filtration and bioremediation.

The revolutionary integration of these two technologies results in two significant benefits:
1. There is no need for chlorine to the sanitize the waste stream so the CLPB is operationally safer and more environmentally friendly than other water treatment systems;
2. The two technologies work together to treat emulsified oils and suspended solids, such as clay or silt, which are considered outside the range and capability of other wash-water treatment systems.

The CLPB line features a series of modular components so that the system can be configured to the customer's specific needs. In the past Water Maze's advanced bio-technology has been used mostly in treating wash-water where there is a high organic content in the waste stream, such as the golf and turf markets. Now, with the CLPB, it is effective in treating industrial wastewater.

The CLPB facilitates the injection of a Water Maze proprietary BioStax 1800 Microbe Solution coordinated with a time-sequenced aeration of bacteria to control odor and create degradation of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), fuels, benzenes, oils and grease. The BioStax microbes are certified as gram positive, pathogen-free, Class 1 organisms making them extremely safe for handling. They're also enhanced by the introduction of a Water Mazes BioNutrient solution.

The dominant feature of the CLPB is the high-density, polyethylene tank that is extra-resistant to chemical fatigue and ultraviolet exposure. It also has a unit volume of 600 gallons with process capacity site specific. The cone-bottom tank has a 60-degree slope to enhance the settling and removal of suspended solids in the wastewater.
The CLPB system is fully automated for simple operation and low maintenance.
