Wash-Down Valves require no protective cabinet.

Press Release Summary:

Featuring hygienic design, Clean Line Series CL03 Pneumatic Valve System consists of individual subbases in inch or ISO-G ports. Because each subbase has its own integrated circuit card, system can be expanded up to 16 valves in single valve increments. With flow up to 0.85 Cv, system features IP69K protection class rating for high-pressure wash-down up to 1,450 psi. Gaps between valve protection covers allow cleaning and avoid dirt pockets.

Clean Line Pneumatic Wash-Down Valves Require No Protective Cabinet

Company will display the Series CL03 valve system at MD&M East/ATX/EastPack, June 13-15, 2005 in New York, NY, Booth #2805

Rexroth has developed a complete new pneumatic valve manifold system for wash-down applications.Hygienic design and high protection class are just two of its features.

In the food processing and packaging industry there is a need for valve systems featuring hygienic design, the ability to withstand aggressive detergents and chemicals, and high protection class. A high degree of modularity and flexibility are further essential requirements for these applications. Clean Line, Series CL03 from Rexroth meets all of these.

The Series CL03 valve system has an IP69K protection class rating for high-pressure wash-down up to 1450 psi, setting it apart from other valves available on the market. The customer benefits from not having to use a protective cabinet, and by improved system performance by having valves mounted closer to the actuators. With a high flow of up to 0.85Cv, the valves can perform a very wide variety of tasks. Choose from multi-pin connection or use serial communication options for major protocols which allow the use of Rexroth advanced diagnostic capabilities.

The gaps between the valve protection covers allow easy cleaning and avoid dirt pockets. The materials, such as the polyamide used for the subbases and covers, are carefully selected and tested for chemical resistance.

The CL03 consists of individual subbases in inch or ISO-G ports. Because each subbase has its own integrated circuit card, the system can be expanded up to 16 valves in single valve increments. Since each valve can be individually supplied with two different pressures, one valve system can handle up to 32 different pressures, enabling optimal pressure to be used for each actuator.

Factory assembled and tested valve manifolds are available, and custom manifolds can be configured on-line at www.boschrexroth-us.com. The valves are identical to those in the successful HF03 series. This means that all of the valve functions - 5/2, 5/3 and 2Ã-3/2 - are available. The serial communication system is also identical to the Bus Direct used in the HF03.
