Lumastrobe Visual Freeze Alert Alarm
Lumastrobe Warning Lights has introduced its independently powered Freeze Flash warning light system. This unit is an early warning signal indicating a probable failure of the heating system that could cause freezing pipes and water damage. Utilizing (2) D-Cell batteries, the model LX-5-FA provides 60 double flashes per minute of a bright red signal. It will flash for over 400 hours with a new set of alkaline batteries. Comprised of (5) long life, high output LED lamps positioned within an inner diffusing Fresnel lens with outer protective red dome, the light can be seen over 1/4 mile away. The Freeze Flash comes with an adjustable thermostat that can be set over a range of 35° to 60, F. Since the unit is independent of line (120V) power, simply place the Freeze Flash in a window where it can easily be seen at all times by a neighbor or watchman. If the inside temperature goes down to alarm setting, the red flasher will activate. The unit is 5-1/2" high, 5-1/2" in diameter and weighs 1-1/2 lbs with (2) D-Cell batteries. Ideal for primary home, vacation home, condo or any facility that contains water pipes or property that could be damaged by a freezing situation.
