Louisville, Ky. - ASAP Automation (www.asapauto.com) has released Exacta Work Area Manager (WAM), a software add-on designed for Pick-to-Light and Voice Picking operations. This powerful planning tool enables users to create configurable templates that better organize and allocate warehouse resources and staff where they are most needed during picking operations.

"With Exacta, we constantly strive to provide customers with enhancements that will work best for their environment," said Eric Cameron, vice president of sales at ASAP Automation. "Exacta Work Area Manager is a simple, effective add-on that increases warehouse efficiency by allowing users to accurately assign resources."

Exacta WAM helps warehouse managers and operators balance workflow across zones, allocate warehouse staff to the busiest areas, and create customized work area templates based on workflow. Benefits of Exacta WAM include:
  • Ability to view WAM information from any PC on the network.
  • Unlimited number of configurable templates, since workflow typically varies based on time of day and day of the week.
