SYRACUSE, NY - The Cooper Crouse-Hinds® SpecOne(TM) CPMV Series Champ-Pak(TM) Wall Pack Luminaire for hazardous and non-hazardous industrial use, is the only luminaire specifically designed, engineered and manufactured for the unique application requirements found in hazardous classified areas. The luminaire is now available with induction lamps. Induction lamps offer extremely long life (up to 100,000 hours) and their average life-span is 15 years under continuous operation. Induction technology offers lighting designers significantly reduced maintenance costs and low energy consumption, making induction lamps ideal for situations where maintenance is difficult and/or expensive. The Champ-Pak luminaire is a member of the SpecOne(TM) family of luminaires and is suitable for use around the world.
The low-profile wall pack luminaire mounts virtually anywhere and is perfect for mounting on any vertical surface where minimal fixture depth is critical. It is suitable for many environments including those that require Marine, NEMA 4X or IP66 ratings. The Champ-Pak luminaire performs well indoors and outdoors in manufacturing plants, refineries, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other industrial process facilities, waste or sewage treatment facilities, offshore, dockside and harbor installations and other heavy-duty industrial applications.
Various uses for the Champ-Pak luminaire include security and safety lighting in vehicle and pedestrian passageways, industrial area doorways, outdoor marine and wet locations, loading docks, tunnels, stairways, and anywhere commonly affected by rain, snow, wind, dirt and other contaminants.
Champ-Pak luminaires are offered in high-pressure sodium, mercury vapor, metal halide, fluorescent, fluorescent emergency and induction lamp versions. The "lamp base down" design allows for cooler T-ratings, and the side-hinged cover provides for easy maintenance with only two screws to remove.
