Oberon Announces New Wall-Mounted Enclosure for Wireless APs and Other Networking Equipment
From wireless access points to the Apple TV®, the Model 1015-00 secures networking equipment in high-traffic, high-visibility areas.
State College, PA - Securing and maintaining wireless access points, DAS remote units with internal antennas, and multimedia gateways such as Apple TV® is now easier and more convenient with the introduction of Oberon's new Model 1015-00 wall-mounted enclosure. The enclosure features rounded corners and the unique "Skybar" cover shape, making it desirable for use in high-traffic, high-visibility areas such as residence halls, hotels, airports, and other Wi-Fi hotspot locations. The enclosure is designed to mount high-density wireless access points such as the new Cisco Aironet 3700 Series and the Aruba Networks AP 225.
The Model 1015-00 is a locking 11" x 11" surface-mounted wall or hard lid ceiling enclosure. The internal mounting T-bar accepts point T-bar mounting clips from all manufacturers, making the enclosure highly flexible. The doors are keyed alike to simplify moves, adds, and changes. Physical security meets wireless performance as the ABS plastic enclosure combines strength and RF signal transparency, making it virtually invisible to wireless signals.
