TRUMPower Introduces 5-7 W Wall Mount Power Adapters Available with Convenient USB Charger
Santa Clara, California - Tumbler Technologies + TRUMPower proudly unveils its newest addition to their line of AC/DC wall mount power adapters with the TVW7 series, which are equipped with a USB jack on the case or an output cable with a DC plug.
The TVW7 series operates at 90 to 264 VAC, 47-63 Hz universal input. Delivering 5W to 7W of continuous output power, these AC/DC power adapters offer a wide output voltage range of 3V to 27V, which can be factory-preset to customer requirement. With 0.3W low standby power at no load, the units meet CEC level V regulation and comply with ErP Step 2 standards.
The USB socket type is for the 5V/1A output only. Other output models are equipped with a 5 feet DC output cable and a barrel plug as standard. To accommodate specific requirements, many other desired connector options can be used too. Targeting worldwide markets, the adapters are available with fixed or interchangeable AC plugs. Customers have a choice of 4 types of AC plugs: US/China, EU, UK, and Australian.
Other key features of the TVW7 series include overvoltage, overload, and short-circuit protections. The adapters can be fully loaded at -10°C to +40°C ambient temperature with 25% derating required at +50°C.
The TVW7 power adapters are UL, cUL, CB, CE approved to UL/EN60950-1 ITE safety standards and are also compliant with RoHS requirements, LPS and PSE safety standards. The units meet the EMC standards that include EN55022 Class B, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-4, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-6, EN61000-4-8, EN61000-4-11, and EN55024. The input-output withstand voltage is 3K VAC. A medical grade compatible series, the TMW7, with 4K VAC isolation voltage is also available.
The TVW7 series is economically priced at $3.50/ea in OEM quantity. Units are available from 8 to 12 weeks ARO.
