Legrand/Wiremold Introduces Enclosures for Cisco® 1250 Aironet Units

WEST HARTFORD, Conn.- Legrand/Wiremold has introduced three new wireless access point (WAP) enclosures that are designed specifically for use with the Cisco® 1250 Aironet wireless access point. These secure enclosures conceal the WAP and allow for optimal Wi-Fi signal coverage to adjacent spaces while supporting industry standard POE (power over Ethernet). Two of these new enclosures are for drop ceiling applications, while the third is a wall-mounted unit.

WAPE5-1250KITD and 1250KITR Wireless Access Point Enclosures provide a 5" deep enclosure that fits into a 2' x 2' drop ceiling tile grid. Faceplates allow for mounting the Aironet 1250 WAP using dipole antennas (1250KITD) or remote antennas (1250KITR). These ceiling enclosures are plenum rated by UL and may be used in environmental air spaces. These enclosures for active equipment meet all requirements of the TIA/EIA-569-B "Pathways and Spaces" standards.

The NME1250AP Wireless Access Point Enclosure conceals wireless access points in a wall-mounted, ETL/cETL listed enclosure. Its thermoplastic construction provides protection for expensive access point hardware and fragile antennae while allowing optimum placement for maximum signal performance while supporting industry standard POE. Antennas for Cisco Aironet 1250 access points can be configured either internal or external to the enclosure. The enclosure can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and includes a concealed key lock under a subdoor to prevent unauthorized access.

Wiremold® wireless access point enclosures are supplied with mounting hardware, and have design features for ease of installation.
