Wabash and Carver Exhibiting at Rubber Expo 2011


Wabash MPI and Carver Inc. will be introducing and displaying new products at the Rubber Expo(TM) & Advanced Materials in Health Care in Booth No. 1432 from October 11-13, to be held at the I-X Center in Cleveland, OH. Carver will release a new Auto Series press, the new Auto Four/4819-NE, 48 ton laboratory testing press. This model has been specifically designed to produce rubber test slabs in accordance with ASTM D3182. This press will feature the new AccuHeat(TM) Heat Tube Platens with ± 1 F° uniformity and accuracy in many applications.

AccuHeat(TM) platens will be offered in standard sizes from 6" X 6" to 24" X 24" and are available for new and existing Wabash and Carver presses. Custom sizes and configurations are also available. Other Wabash press equipment will also be on display.

Wabash is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of standard and custom presses. Wabash offers several presses for rubber applications including compression molding presses, ASTM presses for rubber testing and transfer molding presses for rubber. The full line of Wabash presses also includes liquid injection molding, vacuum molding, composite molding, laboratory and R&D presses and all-electric compression presses. Carver, Inc. offers two-column and four column benchtop, manual and automatic hydraulic laboratory presses with clamping capacities from 12 to 150 tons. Carver presses are suited for various materials research such as pharmaceuticals, analytical chemistry, plastics, elastomers, lab testing, laminating and other applications including specimen preparation.
