Voltage Variable Equalizer has adjustable attenuation slope.

Press Release Summary:

Supporting telecom band frequencies from 950–2,150 MHz, VAEQ-2150+ enables very fine attenuation slope control to linearize device over frequency. Units measure 0.394 x 0.394 x 0.150 in. and consume low levels of power, with supply voltages from +3 to +5 Vdc at 15 mA max and control voltages from 0 to +5 Vdc at 10 mA max. IP3 of +55 dBm and typ deviation from linear loss of ±0.1 dB at +3 V supply and ±0.05 dB at +5 V supply minimize signal and power distortion over full passband.

New Voltage Variable Equalizer with Adjustable Attenuation Slope and High Linearity

Mini-Circuits is giving you another element in your designer’s toolbox.  The VAEQ-2150+ voltage variable equalizer supports telecom band frequencies from 950 to 2150 MHz and enables very fine attenuation slope control to accurately linearize a device over frequency.  The VAEQ-2150+ consumes low levels of power with supply voltages from +3 to +5VDC at 15mA maximum and control voltages from 0 to +5VDC at 10mA maximum.  These tiny units measure only 0.394” x 0.394” x 0.150”, allowing for dense circuit board layouts while minimizing the effect of parasitics.  High IP3 of +55dBm and typical deviation from linear loss of ±0.1 dB at +3V supply and ±0.05 dB at +5V supply provide very low signal and power distortion over the full passband.  The VAEQ-2150+ offers designers outstanding control capability for many applications including cable loss and RF chain gain compensation, instrumentation, and satellite L-band.
