New Voltage Converters from SECO-LARM- Now Available!
Sep. 10th, 2008: SECO-LARM is now shipping the ST-LA series of Voltage Converters. These are useful for converting 12/24 VAC/VDC into regulated and filtered 5/12/24 VDC.
Two versions are available: The 1Amp ST-LA110-TTQ and the 500mA ST-LA105-TTQ. Both can be used to create low-voltage DC from different power sources on-site. The installation of DC security devices and audio/video equipment can now be finished faster and more efficiently.
Another outstanding feature of the ST-LA voltage converters is the ability to run AC over great distances before being converted into DC. Since AC has significantly less voltage drop over long cable runs, it can now be the preferred method of delivering power to a DC device located far from any other DC power source.
Retrofitting older camera systems that run on AC is now easier than ever. Installing the Voltage Converter at the camera end of each cable run allows DC cameras to easily replace other cameras running on AC.
Other features of the ENFORCER Voltage Converters include a voltage selection jumper, a dual-colored power output LED, small size for cleaner and easier installation, and an included DC pigtail plug.
