VCO: V846ME29-LF Wide Frequency



Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V846ME29-LF. The V846ME29-LF operates at 2900-4400 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 1-22 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -80 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 90 MHz/V.

The V846ME29-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 8 dBm at 8 Vdc supply while drawing 26 mA (typical) over the temperature range of 0º to 50º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -18 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-16-L package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V846ME29-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
