Original Press Release:

New 137-171 MHz CVCOFLM VCO from Crystek Corporation Features Extra Modulation Port for Transmitter Applications

Fort Myers, FL - The CVCO55FLM-0137-0171 operates from 137 MHz to 171 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5V~4.5V. This VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) features a typical phase noise of -118 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and has excellent linearity.

Crystek's CVCO55FLM VCOs contain an extra modulation port (TX modulation), making the family an ideal choice for transmitter applications. The modulation port has a negative slope and a typical modulation sensitivity of -25KHz/V.

Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the model CVCO55FLM-0137-0171 is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5-in. x 0.5-in. SMD package. Output power is typically 0 dBm, and input voltage is 5V, with a max. current consumption of 20 mA. Pulling and Pushing are minimized to 1.5 MHz and 0.5 MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -15 dBc typical.
