The device allows the customer to apply force directly in the linear direction without the cost of a mechanical conversion device such as a ball screw or gearbox. Often this reduction of parts contributes to improved reliability and life of a system. The actuator, which measures 2.72" diameter by 1.06" long, features a low-mass, molded inner-moving coil.
