The biggest part of the public show will be the presentation of our virtual window, featuring the latest in 3D broadcast innovation.

Virtual Window (3D TV on regular TV's) Imagine looking through a window. Fixing your eyes on an object and moving your head, the scenery will shift in accordance. Vizrt's virtual window adds exactly this type of depth extension to your studio. Objects will change perspective as the camera moves between different positions, creating an incredible real-world user experience. Immersive graphics adds another layer of depth to what becomes a stunning 3D environment. Inclusion of iPads and other tablets will make sure the audience stays on its feet by providing the opportunity to directly influence the live presentation through our brand new companion apps for iOS and HTML5.

Viz Media Engine

The Viz Media Engine is the combination of tools from Vizrt to manage and publish video in any scenario. The solution is Vizrt's dynamic response to a rapidly evolving market that demands packaged and flexible media asset management solutions. Our most advanced video management system to date features a revolutionarily simple user interface, where searching just became lightning-fast. Its redesigned architecture, featuring a rest-based API, makes the life of third-parties who maintain, install and integrate towards it, a lot easier. The platform's foundation provides a rich feature set for recording tapes and feeds, rough-cut editing for journalists, and integration with third party craft editing environments like Avid Interplay and Apple Final Cut. The Viz Media Engine solution can be further expanded to multi-site solutions for exchanging information with other Viz Media Engine based systems.

When combined with our complete video platform, the approach brings huge benefits to all types of video production. With Viz Media Engine, all the steps of publishing can be done from a single point. From the camera situation, to the final play-out on TV, web, phones and other devices, the Viz Media Engine delivers transcoding to a variety of formats at the same time. Tight integration lets you re-purpose your existing TV graphics and easily fit them to any handheld device.

Online and Mobile

At NAB, Vizrt will demonstrate its latest innovations in video transcoding and simplified on-site reporting. The latest version of our transcoding software enables users to collect high-quality video signals from the broadcast production workflow and distribute the selected video online, or to any handheld device, fully compatible with burnt-in or overlay TV graphics. Vizrt also supports device adapted graphics for on-demand content, more effective than pre or post roll ads. Vizrt takes care of the complete chain - from ingest to delivery. When adding support for subscriptions, content management, DRM issues, IPTV, on demand video, geo-blocking and ad-integration, the online video package is complete.

Vizrt will also demonstrate the new live features of Viz Reporter, empowering a journalist to go live on-air with graphics from virtually anywhere in the world.
