IMP (Intelligent Mark Positioning) by Virtek Laser Systems reduces set-up time, simplifies focusing, can eliminate waste parts due to misaligned marks and reduces the price of costly fixturing.
Virtek's patented IMP will verify positioning and orientation of a part prior to marking and is capable of accepting or rejecting marking of the part. Part verification, mark content and laser control are accomplished through Virtek's IMP, integrated software. The one time job setup can be transferred to other FOBA lasers to offer machine to machine consistency. Typical changeover time can also be reduced by 40% or better when compared to laser systems without IMP.
