Lower Viscosity Capability Means You Can Measure Many More Products!
Middleboro, MA - The Brookfield CAP 1000+ Viscometer can now measure many more low viscosity products. Brookfield engineers have lowered the full scale torque range from 181,000 dyneocm to 7,970 dyneocm. This new design, known as the 1/23 CAP 1000+, also offers choice of standard speeds at 750 and 900 rpm or a single custom speed which is ideal for quick QC tests.
This expanded range allows customers to perform shear rate tests on products with lower viscosities like: thinner coatings, polymers & resins, architectural & automotive coatings, and personal care products like shampoos and conditioners. It is a perfect solution for many new water-based products manufactured with no VOCs.
The CAP 1000+ tests very small sample volumes (less than 1mL) and features rapid temperature control from 5°C to 75°C with an integrated Peltier Plate or 50°C to 235 °C with an integrated heating element.
