ProfileUnity is the company's popular virtual user management and migration solution. The inherent modular architecture of ProfileUnity, combined with the integration of application deployment, user entitlement and license tracking, enables VMware ThinApp customers to implement application delivery to specific user profiles and track license usage in a matter of minutes. ProfileUnity 4.7 enables customers to deploy VMware ThinApp applications in an online mode (network streamed) or an offline mode (cached locally), and/or completely remove the applications and settings. ProfileUnity can deploy VMware ThinApp-virtualized applications to select users, PCs, laptops, or virtual machines. Applications can be delivered to users through the use of robust filters based on individual user names, network location, organization units, security groups, building, branch, office location, and other variables. Using ProfileUnity 4.7, IT administrators can quickly and easily deploy VMware ThinApp applications to the users' desktops and track an application's license count on hundreds of end points, no matter what state.
