Virtual Industries Small Parts Tips on Display at SMT Nuremberg 2013
COLORADO SPRINGS, COÂ -Â Virtual Industries Inc., a leading supplier of manual vacuum handling solutions, announces that it will display several advanced systems for part handling in the Microtronic Microelectronic Vertriebs GmbH Booth #9-304A at the SMT/Hybrid/Packaging 2013 exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place April 16-18, 2013 at the Messezentrum in Nuremberg, Germany.
Demonstrated at the show, the Small Part Handling Kit for parts as small as 200 microns (TV1000-SP8-BD) is a general-purpose vacuum handling tool that plugs directly into 110 V (50/60 Hz). This compact unit handles a wide variety of optics, ball lenses and SMT parts used in industry today. An optional tip handles parts as small as 0.004" (0.10 mm) without damage. Vacuum tweezers eliminate lost parts associated with mechanical tweezer handling. The long-life diaphragm vacuum pump generates up to 10" of mercury with an open air flow of 2.3 lpm. The unit connects to ground automatically with a three-wire power cord.
Microtronic also will display products from its other suppliers, including but not limited to a SONIX Echo SAM, an EVS1000 Solder Recovery System, a SEIT Minimax, J2M Testsockets and products from AIM Specialty Solders and AKROMETRIX.
