UV Viewing Cabinet Turns Day Into Night!

Westbury, New York - Laboratory technicians and researchers can observe even the faintest UV-fluorescence in brightly lit rooms by using the Spectroline© CM-26 UV viewing cabinet. This economical unit acts as a "mini darkroom" and is ideal for use where lab space is limited. It is highly recommended for viewing TLC plates and a wide variety of fluorescent samples.

The CM-26 cabinet is lightweight and portable and can be readily moved from one work station to another. It is extremely versatile, offering a choice of both long wave and short wave UV irradiances.

The cabinet features the Spectroline ENF-260C UV lamp, which delivers a typical peak long wave UV (365nm) intensity of 350 uW/cm2 and a short wave UV (254nm) intensity of 390 uW/cm2 at the cabinet floor. The lamp is easily removed for hand-held use.

A flexible, contoured viewer has a built-in UV-absorbing window, which protects the user's eyes. A panel on the bottom of the CM-26 cabinet is removable, allowing it to fit directly on any of the 23 models of Spectroline UV transilluminators.

The ENF-260C lamp has an exclusive LONGLIFE(TM) filter glass, assuring higher initial UV intensity and longer filter life - up to 50 times longer than conventional UV filters! The CM-26 cabinet is UL listed, CSA approved and CE approved.
