Videx to Showcase New CyberLock Communication Devices at BOMA

CORVALLIS, OREGON, May 1, 2009 - Videx, Inc. announces two new additions to the CyberLock family of access control products: a Mini Keyport and the WebStation. These new products are used to pass information between the CyberLock access management software and electronic keys. CyberLock is an electronic lock system that allows electronic keys to be programmed with an access schedule for opening locks. The system's locks and keys provide an audit report of each opening and unauthorized attempt to enter.

The Mini Keyport and WebStation are both communication devices. The Mini Keyport offers another option for users that want to update their keys from a remote location. It is durable and weather-resistant for outside installations. WebStation is a docking station for the CyberKey that can be used to connect directly to a desktop computer or to the network.

For companies that are experiencing physical access and key control problems, the CyberLock Access Control System offers a powerful and affordable solution. The CyberLock system incorporates the mechanical lock hardware that is already present in buildings. Cylinders inside the existing mechanical locks just need to be replaced with CyberLock electronic cylinders. All this is done without the expensive costs of hardwiring and structural changes.

With CyberLock, a company will never have to re-key their facility again because someone lost a master key. The lost key can be quickly blocked from the system, making it inactive.

Company staff will welcome CyberLock. Not only does it help to insure security, it provides peace of mind as well. For facilities that are concerned about key control and want to audit traffic throughout their buildings, the CyberLock electronic access control system is an excellent choice.
