Edmund Optics Announces Motorized VZM(TM) Video Zoom Lenses
May 16, 2005, Barrington, NJ - Edmund Optics announces the addition of motorized versions of their popular VZM(TM) 300, VZM(TM) 450 and VZM(TM) 1000 Video Zoom Microscope lenses. These motorized lenses come complete with encased DC Gear-motor with rubber o-ring belt drive and bracket, CE analog/RS-232 control unit, 10 ft. motor/controller cable, basic LabVIEW® operation interface software disk (Windows® 98, 2000, or XP compatible), RS-232 cable, and CE universal power supply (110V & 220V operation) with removable US standard IEC power cord. The control unit allows the user to vary the zoom as well as the speed and direction at which zooming occurs.
