Electro Standards Laboratories has announced the Model 8508 Eight
Channel Video Switch to its extensive line of manually operated communication interface switches. CCTV applications include security monitoring systems and industrial inspection systems.
Signals from eight remotely located CCTV cameras are selected for viewing by a high impedance video monitor at the midpoint of a security network or by a low impedance video monitor at the network's endpoint. The "Guaranteed for Life!" switches allow simple pushbutton selection of video from up to eight sources.
Interlocked pushbuttons hold the last selected video on the shared monitor until another button is pressed, selecting a new channel. All connections are made at the rear panel via BNC connectors. Maximum EMI/RFI shielding is attained by all-aluminum packaging.
