ATEN Technology Unveils New Video Matrix Switches for Education, Commercial and Security Environments

ATEN Also Launches New 16-Port Video Splitter With Audio Support

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 8 /-- ATEN Technology, Inc., an innovator of high-quality KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) and remote connectivity solutions to manage servers and other network devices, today added four new video appliances to its expanding family of video switches, splitters and extenders. The new audio-enabled models are designed to meet high standards of excellence demanded by education, commercial and security organizations.

The new video matrix switches include the two-port VS0202 (output to two video sources from two computers), four-port VS0204 (output to four video sources from two computers) and four-port VS0404 (output to four video sources from four computers) that features a four input/four output configuration. In addition, all models boast high resolution levels of up to 1920 x 1440.

This family of video matrix switches is ideal for classrooms, training centers, trade shows, retail stores, security, and control centers. Additional ports on the video matrix switches provide users with the flexibility to optimize unused ports as a backup to ensure seamless operations in the event of video failure -- critical for security environments such as airport and public video surveillance.

All three video matrix switches feature up to 300 MHz video bandwidth as well as duplicate and enhanced video signals to up to 210 ft. (65 meters). In addition, users can conveniently toggle between video sources via front panel push buttons located on the video matrix switches. These solutions can be cascaded with the following ATEN video splitters: VS92A, VS94A, VS98A, VS132, VS134, and VS138.

The new VS0116, a 16-port video splitter with support for audio, enhances video and audio signals from an input source (i.e. a computer) and routes them to up to 16 output devices (monitors, projectors, etc.).
