MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The new Welcome™ Door Entry System from ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, is a simple, easy and flexible way to meet the home monitoring and security needs for single and multi-family homes.
The ABB Welcome™ Door Entry System features two-wire, non-polarized technology, which simplifies installation.
The outdoor stations are modular and available in either aluminum or stainless steel. Their modularity delivers an optimum door communication solution for all types of new construction and retrofit applications, and enables distributors to reduce their stock, while keeping quick-service replacements handy.

The interior station features a small 4.3-inch station or a large 7-inch color display with intuitive touch control, the ability to transfer calls between different apartment and security station units, and the ability to leave messages to family members and visitors.
Large buttons, intuitive design and indicating LEDs ensure an effortless experience, while other functions can include automatic unlock, door status check and second-door unlock. The 1.7-inch wide video headset is among the thinnest on the market.
Each ABB Welcome™ system is smartphone compatible and features easy remote access. The app enables communication with the exterior station and can open doors, switch on lights and call an elevator, among other functions. The ABB portal can send messages to a smartphone, while pictures and video memory are Internet accessible.
