Victaulic Announces the Availability of the Style V12 Open Spray Nozzles
EASTON, PA - Victaulic, the original innovator of grooved pipe joining, today announced the availability of the Style V12 Open Spray Nozzles for fire protection services.
The Style V12 Spray Nozzles are open type, designed for directional spray applications in fixed fire protection systems, specifically for use with vertical, horizontal, curved, and irregular shaped surfaces.
The Style V12 Spray Nozzles feature deflectors of varying angles that discharge a solid uniform cone spray of low- to medium- velocity water droplets. This is done to prevent objects from absorbing heat that could cause structural damage and possible spread of fire. In certain applications, depending on water design application density, the Style V12 nozzles may be used to control or extinguish fires.
Victaulic Style V12 Spray Nozzles are available in 64 models, offering a variety of K-Factors and spray angles to meet various design application requirements. The Style V12 Spray Nozzles are offered with U.S. nominal K-factors 1.2, 1.8, 2.3, 3.2, 4.1, 4.9, 5.6, and 7.2 and a range of deflector angles from 65° to 180°.
K-factor 4.9/7.1 metric is only available from Victaulic.

The V12 Spray Nozzles are UL Listed for use with fixed fire protection systems in both the U.S. and Canada. The spray nozzles are available with plain brass and proprietary Nickel/Teflon(TM) coating, for corrosion resistance in all configurations.
