Vibratory Rollers achieve centrifugal force of 19,125 lb.

Press Release Summary:

Series C810C includes 7,275 lb Model C815C for granular and mixed soil applications, and 7,385 lb Model C812C with 70 contact pads for cohesive and semi-cohesive soils. Dual travel pump system, rear travel axle with no-spin differential, and radial piston drum-drive travel motor allow gradeability of 55%. Both models utilize 50 hp Deutz F3L 2011 air/oil-cooled diesel engines, and include dual amplitudes with operating frequency of 2,460 vpm. Maximum working speed is 5.6 mph.

Original Press Release:

New HYPAC C810C Series Single-Drum Vibratory Rollers Feature Increased Gradeability, Centrifugal Force

KEWANEE, Ill. - Engine and drive train improvements on the new HYPAC C810C series single-drum vibratory rollers have resulted in a 37-percent improvement in gradeability compared with the models they replace.

The dual travel pump system, combined with a heavy-duty rear travel axle with no-spin differential and a radial piston drum-drive travel motor, allows the C810C series to achieve a gradeability of 55 percent.

The C810C series includes the 7,275-pound C815C, a smooth drum model designed primarily for granular and mixed soil applications, and the 7,385-pound C812C, a padfoot model with 70 individual contact pads for exceptional performance on cohesive and semi-cohesive soils.

Both the C815C and C812C feature 50-horsepower Deutz F3L 2011 air/oil-cooled diesel engines that are 31 percent more powerful than the engines in the models they replace. The C815C and the C812C also offer fully hydrostatic travel and vibration drives, dual amplitudes and an optimized operating frequency of 2,460 vpm (vibrations per minute) for maximum versatility on a wide range of materials.

Both the C815C and C812C achieve a centrifugal force of 19,125 pounds in high amplitude, a 90-percent increase over the models they replace. Maximum working speed for both models is 5.6 mph.

To ensure full drum contact, even on irregular terrain, the C810C series features a maintenance-free, bolt-on oscillating/articulating center joint that delivers ±12-degree oscillation. A generous steering angle of ±35 degrees provides high maneuverability on tight job sites.

Operator comfort is enhanced with ergonomically designed, vibration-isolated operator platforms. For ease of operation, floor-positioned foot pedals control travel direction and speed. Decibel levels are kept to a minimum, even with the vibration function engaged. Enhanced front and rear visibility helps achieve a safer work environment. Front and rear working lights are standard.

Maintenance checks and service are made simple with easy-access, two-opening position engine hoods. Additionally, the engines are reverse mounted to provide greater access to all major hydraulic components. Drum vibration isolators can be field replaced without the need for special tools or removal of the drum. Elimination of daily grease points minimizes routine maintenance.

Other standard features on the C810C series include ROPS/FOPS with seat belt, lockable control panels and hood for vandal protection, back-up alarm, SAHR (Spring-Applied, Hydraulically Released) brakes and adjustable operator seats with arm rests. Two leveling blades, including one with a left-to-right angling mechanism, are available as options for the C812C only.
