Dukane Featuring New Vibration Welder 5000 Series at NPE2015

Dukane Corporation, St. Charles, IL will introduce their new VW5000 Series of Vibration Welders, at NPE2015. This new line inherits all time tested mechanical features of Dukane’s Vibration Welders and incorporates advance technology to give users better process control, more data storage, and easy programming features, along with backward tooling compatibility.

VW5000 series comes with a 15” color touch screen on board computer with a robust solid state drive which eliminates failure due to mechanical vibration.  The intuitive user interface software provides real time graphing of amplitude, pressure, and collapse distance, giving users additional control to monitor the process. These advance features are ideal for process evaluation and troubleshooting.  Both, data and tooling program storage have larger memory and ability to download data on external devices via USB port or Ethernet. Programming capabilities for sensors and pneumatic valves makes complex tooling easy to set up.  Each tooling sequence of operation can be coordinated simply by using the user-friendly software unique to the VW5000 series. A PLC programming expert for changing simple standard machine logic is no longer required.

VW5000 series features Dukane’s patented proprietary digital frequency drive which  delivers significantly more power, efficiency, reliability and flexibility for unique applications.  Service spares, and drive upgrades are provided directly from Dukane eliminating dependency on third party manufacturers.

Additionally all the robust mechanical features present in Dukane’s Vibration Welders have been incorporated,  four completely supported rails and eight bearings provide the most stable table system in the industry thus delivering superior part precision. The huge mechanical mass of the liner vibration head coupled with the solid welded tubular steel frame construction eliminate machine failure due to process vibration, in addition provide one of the quietest machines in the industry reducing operator fatigue.  Twenty gallons Rexroth hydraulic power unit with heat exchanger and proportional valve, give the unit a superior service life.
