Two New Vibration, Shock and Acceleration Data Loggers with Extended Battery Life from Convergence Instruments
In addition to its popular Noise Sentry (NS110) TM12 and THM12N data logger series Convergence Instrument (C.I.) introduced a new vibration data logger series.
Vibration Sentry RT (Real-Time) is a new generation of smart data loggers that can record acceleration, vibration and impacts. It includes a 3-axis +-16g MEMS accelerometer, an accurate date/time clock and a non-volatile 64 Mb or 128 Mb recording memory. Depending on the settings it can record vibration signals and/or RMS levels for months. Its very small size and rugged weather-proof enclosure allows it to be attached to or embedded within the monitored equipment.
The Vibration Sentry RT have Integrated oscilloscope and spectrum-analyzer functions that can show the vibration signals in real time and allows the observation of recorded data while the recording is ongoing. They connect to a PC using a standard USB adapter cable, or work stand alone.
The included Vibration Sentry Manager application can be used to setup operating and recording parameters, download, visualize and export data. Also free to download Wave Analysis is an external software tool to further process vibration and acceleration waveforms that have been recorded using Vibration Sentry RT.
