Vibration Control Workstation Isolates Heavy Loads and High Centers of Gravity
BOSTON, MA - Kinetic Systems offers the 1200 Series Vibration Isolation Workstation for heavy, tall, or moving loads. Its sturdy construction combined with Kinetic Systems' proprietary high-performance Active-Air Suspension enable it to effectively isolate loads up to 2800 pounds, including equipment with high centers of gravity.
The 1200 Series Workstation provides a vibration-controlled work environment with an ultra-low vertical natural frequency of 1.6 Hz at load and excellent vertical and horizontal isolation efficiencies of up to 93% and 88% at load. The workstation features an automatic leveling system and Class 100 cleanroom compatibility. Class 10 is available as an option.
A variety of tabletops are available for the 1200 Series. They include 1" thick VibraDamped steel with stainless steel laminate, 1" thick VibraDamped steel with white or black plastic laminate, and 4" thick granite (Vermont gray).
Accessories providing application-specific conveniences include sliding shelves, monitor stands, and even Faraday Cages for protection against electromagnetic interference. Electrical outlet strips provide power for lighting and other electrical needs, guardrails and padded armrests provide ergonomic comfort, and retractable casters allow ease of repositioning.
Typical uses for the 1200 Series Workstation include surface plates; analytical balances; cell injection; confocal, optical, and tunneling microscopes; electro physiology; wafer probing; roundness checkers; mask aligners; and CMMs.
