Vi TECHNOLOGY Receives Award for Sigma Review Software at APEX
Saint-Egrève, France – Vi TECHNOLOGY, a leading provider of inspection solutions for PCB assembly, announces that it has been awarded a 2015 NPI Award in the category of Software – Process Control for its Sigma Review Software. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 ceremony that took place at the San Diego Convention Center during the IPC APEX EXPO.
Sigma Review is a new Web-based multi-step, multi-line review software.
By displaying correlating both SPI and AOI data and images, including reference images, Sigma Review opens the way to defect root cause analysis.Â
In addition, predefined IPC defect categories offer a simple and robust classification environment. Based on the classified defects, Sigma Review can suggest corrective actions for the operator.
