Alpha Wire Announces Expanded Inventory on VFD Cable
Cut-to-Length and Same Day Delivery Remain Unchanged
Elizabeth, NJ, – Alpha Wire is now carrying inventory on all sizes of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) cable – from 4/0 to 16 AWG – in an effort to better serve growing demand. Included is Alpha’s Series V line of VFD cable and the new V-Flex, a flexible version of the Series V.
Alpha’s Series V cables are noted for their roundness and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation + ground conductors. The round design helps achieve IP67 and NEMA 6 designations, while the XLPE core coupled with a foil/braid shield (copper tape in the larger AWG sizes) is required to control the stressful high frequency signal common in VFD systems. The V-Flex features the same benefits in a flexible configuration best for on-machine applications where routing can be an issue.
