Vertical Carousel Roll Out Drawers with Dividers Provide Maximum Space and Ergonomic Benefits to Warehousing Industries
Roll out drawers with dividers in a MegaStation(TM) vertical carousel from MegaStar Systems provide maximum space utilization for industrial equipment industries. By replacing shelving and drawer systems, with automated vertical systems, users in the industrial industry can increase the efficiencies of storage and retrieval operations. The MegaStation Vertical Carousel with rollout drawers eliminates wasted walk and search time, and can improve order-processing efficiency by 50 to 60 percent.
Vertical carousels with roll out drawers provide an ergonomic benefit because the content is presented to the operator for picking outside of the machine via mounted suspension arms. This allows operators to extract a drawer, approximately 20" deep outside of the machine. It also increases visibility and accessibility to the full depth of the drawer, which is already positioned at an ergonomically located height of shelving. One carousel can replace up to 80 sections of shelving, virtually eliminating the walking, bending, and reaching common with shelving and drawer systems that reduce picking efficiencies and can lead to on-the-job injuries.
MegaStation vertical carousels maximizes the use of overhead space, allowing up to 75% floor space to be recovered for value-added operations. The extra floor space can be used for other means like manufacturing or consolidating other departments or facilities.
The dividers maximize space savings by segmenting the drawers into the most efficient compartments for stored products.
