Explosion Protection Vent Panels that minimize structural and mechanical damage caused by expanding gases are now available in a full range of types and sizes from ZOOK. The panels protect systems and enhance personnel safety in areas where dust particles from coal, wood, plastics, metal and other products are present and may increase the risk of an explosion.
Four Vent Panel models are available, each designed to offer compatibility with the widest range of systems. The panels mount easily into standard angle frames and are available in square, rectangular, or round configurations in a variety of sizes and materials. Burst ratings range from 0.50 to 8.00 psi. Users can choose from flat or domed designs as well as single-hinge or segmented types.
Options include burst indication capability, insulation and gaskets. Vent frames- an important component in an explosion vent system- are also available in carbon or stainless steel.
